Peek Into The Elizabethan Era

I just finished looking into the cultural context and time period in which this was written. I found numerous articles using the Hale database to supplement my research. The Elizabethan Era was honestly a really confusing time, some people loved theater and others hated it. Additionally, this was written during a period in which a woman ruled over England, which may have had an impact on the content and message of the play. At this point, I think that I have all the information needed for 2-3 pages on the history. I have some more things to look into regarding the time period, but I think that I have a pretty good grasp of the cultural context of the play.
